Tributes to Kylee Coggan
To my DINFOS Airman by Army Sgt. Gary Hawkins
I was heartbroken to learn of the heavy loss of your precious child. No grater compliment can be given than to tell the world about the short time you spent together. Your story is moving and truly shows the power of your bond that only a mother can have for her child. Hopefully, through your strength, this terrible tragedy, that takes so many angels from us, can be understood and be prevented from happening again. Thank you for sharing the love of your daughter with me and the world. Your poems are so stirring and tender, I was moved to tears.
May God bless you and keep you strong. Your friend, Gary

In Our Hearts by Papa & Grandma
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we'll never part.
God has you in His keeping.
We have you in our heart.

Kylee girl by Grandma & Papa
If we could have a lifetime wish
and one dream that could come true
We would pray to God with all our
hearts just to see and speak to you
A thousand words won’t bring you back
We know because we’ve tried
and neither will a million tears
We know because we’ve cried
You’ve left behind our broken hearts
and precious memories too
But we’ve never wanted memories
We only wanted you

Special Angel author unknown by mommy
There is a special Angel in Heaven,
That is a part of me,
It is not where I wanted her,
But where God wanted her to be.
She was here just a moment,
Like a night time shooting star,
And though she is in Heaven,
She isn't very far.
She touched the hearts of many,
Like only an Angel can do,
I would have held her every moment,
If the end I only knew.
So I send this special message,
To heaven up above,
Please God take care of my Angel,
and send her all my love!

Let them come by the bible
Jesus said, "Let the little children
come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
(Matthew 19:14)

Never goodbye by Mommy
Losing such a young one,
We often ask god why?
For many nights you’ll lie awake,
For many nights you’ll cry.
But when the time has come,
You too will drift through the sky,
Realizing you meant “I’ll see you soon,”
And never really “goodbye.”

Mommy loves you sweetheart! by Neugeboren 1976,
A wife who loses a husband is called a widow. A husband who loses a wife is called a widower. A child who loses his parents is called an orphan. But...there is no word for a parent who loses a child, that's how awful the loss is!

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me by David M. Romano by Grandma for Jamie (daughter to mother poem)
When tomorrow starts without me
and I'm not here to see...
If the sun should rise and find your
eyes filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
the way you did today...
While thinking of the many things
we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you...
And each time you think of me,
I know you'll miss me, too.
But when tomorrow starts without me,
please try to understand...
That Jesus came and called my name
and took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready
in heaven far above...
And that I'd have to leave behind
all those I dearly love.
So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart...
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here in your heart.

We love you by Grandma & Papa
We think about you always,
we talk about you still,
you have never been forgotten,
and you never will.
We hold you close within our hearts,
and there you will remain,
to walk with us throughout our lives
until we meet again.

Little Angel by Tina
God knows how much we need them
so he chooses very few
to make the land of Heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try.
The saddest word that mankind knows
will always be "Good-Bye"
And so when little ones depart,
we who are left behind
must realize how much god loves children,
for angels are hard to find.

We Love You by Flight 762
Though in this life some rain must fall
And troubled tears start to fill your eyes
Through the storms of life and times of loss we will always be by your side
I cannot begin to imagine the pain you are going through
having a gift so precious stolen and having nothing you can do
State to state and base to base we will forever be here for you
when you grieve we all grieve, all of your sisters in Flight 762
We love you and Be Encouraged, a brighter day is on the horizon.

My Mom Is A Survivor by One mother to another
My Mom is a survivor,
or so I've heard it said.
But I can hear her crying at night,
when all others are in bed.
I watch her lay awake at night,
and go to hold her hand.
She doesn't know I'm with her,
to help her understand.
But like the sands on the beach,
that never wash away...
I watch over my surviving mom,
who thinks of me each day.
She wears a smile for others...
a smile of disguise!
But through Heaven's door I see,
tears flowing from her eyes.
My mom tries to cope with death,
to keep my memory alive.
But anyone who knows her knows,
it is her way to survive.
As I watch over my surviving mom,
through Heaven's open door...
I try to tell her that angels,
protect me forevermore.
I know that doesn't help her...
or ease the burden she bears.
So if you get a chance, go visit her...
and show her that you care.
For no matter what she says...
no matter what she feels.
My surviving mom has a broken heart,
that time won't ever heal.

THE BROKEN CHAIN by Grandma
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again

I wrote your name by Grandma
I Wrote Your Name
I wrote your name in the sand
But the waves washed it away
I wrote your name in the stars
But it disappeared by the light of day
I wrote your name on paper
But it was thrown in the trash
I wrote your name in the soil
But it was soon covered in grass
I wrote your name on the wall
But it was covered in new paint
I wrote your name in my memory
But that memory grew faint
I wrote your name in my journal
But I tore those pages apart
So now I wrote your name the only place its safe
Carved right into my heart
